This is exactly why I seriously love reptiles as pets. It's such a challenge to get a reptile to actually want to interact with you for more than food. This is why I always tell new reptile owners (especially those getting iguanas, tegus, moniters, and bearded dragons) that enrichment is very important. You know you've succeeded when such a timid animal with a brain hardwired almost solely for survival will go out of its way to be in your presence.

I have never seen a chameleon so excited. Usually you imagine them slow and disinterested, but this is the most hyper I’ve ever seen a chameleon.

The colors dont change they just get more intense. A panther is most bright and beautiful when he is asleep actually. Interacting with panthers isn't easy but this is a great example of how it can be done.
