50 Historical Figures Reimagined as Modern People Living Today V1 (Updated)

Seriously, one of the coolest videos I've seen on YouTube. If they played that on the first day of history class, the kids would be more likely to relate to those historical figures, and learn a great deal more.

Even more startling than Louis XIV being imagined as a punk rocker in a leather tank top, is having the Parisian cityscape in the background [complete with the Eiffel Tower built 174 years after his death]. Having endured scary times of rioting in the city as a child, Louis would always loathe Paris and spend as little time as possible there- which is WHY he built the gigantic Versailles Palace on its outskirts and ran all of France from there instead of its official capital!

It's poignant seeing them brought to life for a few minutes,  Machiavelli still looks like he's planning something and Lady Jane Grey looks like a thoughtful teenager.   

Their faces are full of character and intelligence, unlike the botoxed, plumped faces of some famous people.
